Airport chauffeur service, in your own car.
We drive you to the terminal or private jet centre in your own car and take it home, or bring it to meet you when you land. Two vetted chauffeurs, no airport parking and no car left waiting for a week.
An airport chauffeur service that uses your car, not ours
Flying usually forces a choice about the car. Drive yourself and it sits in a long-stay car park for the length of the trip, exposed and running up fees. Book a conventional transfer and you ride in a vehicle you did not choose, while your own car stays in the garage doing nothing. RydeBack is an airport chauffeur service that removes the choice: your own car takes you to the airport, and then it goes home.
We send two vetted chauffeurs together. Chauffeur 1 drives your car. Chauffeur 2 drives a RydeBack car, which carries extra passengers or luggage when needed and brings chauffeur 1 back at the end. Nobody leaves a vehicle at the terminal, and nobody pays for a return journey twice. The same pair works at private jet centres, cruise terminals, marinas and main-line stations, so a private jet chauffeur, an FBO car service and a cruise port transfer in your own car are all one booking with the same rules.
We operate in Toronto, Miami, New York, London and Dubai, and the arrangement is identical in each. Your key is sealed in a numbered Faraday pouch, the car is filmed at both ends of the trip, and you follow every step live in the RydeBack web app.
Departures: to the terminal in your car, and the car goes home
A departure booking starts at your door. Both chauffeurs arrive together, your handover PIN is matched, and your car is photographed and filmed before it moves. From there you choose how to travel:
- Ride in your own car. Chauffeur 1 drives you to the terminal or private aviation centre in your own vehicle, with chauffeur 2 following close behind. At the kerb your bags come out, you walk in, and chauffeur 1 drives the car straight back to your garage. Chauffeur 2 then brings chauffeur 1 back. The price is the same as the split mode.
- Split. You and your party ride in the RydeBack car with the luggage, while chauffeur 1 drives your own car home or to its garage. This suits two-seat sports cars with a small boot, or a family with more cases than one car will take.
- Different destinations. While you are away, your car can go somewhere other than home: a dealer for service, a storage facility or a second house. Chauffeur 1 returns by taxi or rideshare. We estimate that fare in your price upfront and settle it to the receipt at cost, capped at 25% above the estimate.
Whichever mode you pick, the car finishes the day parked and locked where you said, filmed again on arrival, with the key handed to the person you named against your PIN. Our service options explain the three modes side by side.

Arrivals: your own car waiting when you land
Coming home is where the arrangement earns its keep. Before your flight lands, chauffeur 1 collects your car from your garage and brings it to the airport, with chauffeur 2 following in the RydeBack car. You come through arrivals to your own car, and after a long flight you are driven home in it with your luggage. If you are travelling with family or staff, the second car takes the overflow of people and bags.
We watch your flight times and adjust. If the aircraft is early or late, the chauffeurs change their timing to match, and you do not need to call. Waiting is not charged separately: the booking is priced by the hour, garage to garage, so time spent waiting for a delayed flight is simply part of those hours. If a long delay takes the trip past the hours you booked, extra time is added in half-hour steps at the same rate, and you see it before the trip closes.
Where you are met depends on the airport. We agree the pickup point when you book: an arrivals kerb, a short-stay area or, where the terminal or FBO allows it, a closer handover. Prefer to ride home in the RydeBack car? Then your own car follows behind with chauffeur 1 and is parked in your garage a few minutes after you are through the front door. If you already use our drive my car home service after evenings out, arrivals follow exactly the same principle.
Private jet chauffeur and FBO car service
Private aviation has its own rhythm. Departure times move, crews change plans, and the car often needs to be as close to the aircraft as the operator will permit. RydeBack works with that rhythm rather than against it.
- Planeside where allowed. Where a private terminal or FBO allows vehicles airside, your own car can be brought to the aircraft steps. Where it does not, we meet you at the terminal entrance. Access is always the operator's decision, so we confirm the arrangement with you in advance.
- Cars that suit the occasion. Exotic and high-value cars are driven only by chauffeurs in our professional tier, assessed for that class of vehicle. You can read how they are chosen on our chauffeurs page.
- Room for the party. The RydeBack car can take guests, an assistant or luggage on to a hotel or a second address while you travel home in your own car.
- Car home after wheels-up. Drive yourself to the jet centre if you like. Once you have boarded, chauffeur 1 takes the car home or into storage, and the parked-and-locked photographs are added to your evidence vault.
Private terminals we cover include the FBOs at Toronto Pearson, Miami–Opa-locka Executive, Miami Executive and Fort Lauderdale Executive, Teterboro, Westchester County and Republic Airport around New York, Farnborough and Biggin Hill outside London, and the private aviation terminals at DXB and DWC in Dubai. Family offices and assistants can book on a principal's behalf; the arrangement is described under private aviation on who we serve.
However your evening ends, we have a plan.
Choose your service option when you book. Every option uses two chauffeurs, full vehicle custody and the same transparent rate.
Split: two cars, one return.
Our most requested option. You and your guests ride in a RydeBack car while your own car is driven to your home or garage.

Cruise ports, marinas and train stations
A cruise ends with luggage, a crowd and, very often, a car that has spent the voyage in a port car park. A cruise port transfer in your own car solves all three. Chauffeur 2 loads the bags and drives you home; chauffeur 1 brings your car out behind you. On embarkation day the same plan runs in reverse, and your car goes home instead of waiting at the port.
Ports we serve include PortMiami and Port Everglades in South Florida; the Manhattan and Brooklyn cruise terminals and Cape Liberty in Bayonne; the Southampton cruise terminals, the Port of Dover and the London International Cruise Terminal at Tilbury; Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal and Mina Rashid; and Great Lakes cruise calls at the Port of Toronto.
Marinas work the same way, usually later in the day. After an afternoon on the water at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, Miami Beach Marina, Chelsea Piers, St Katharine Docks or the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, your car leaves the marina with its own chauffeur while you travel with your guests.
Rail completes the picture. If your car is parked near Union Station in Toronto, Brightline's Miami, Aventura or Fort Lauderdale stations, Grand Central or Moynihan Train Hall in New York, or St Pancras International, King's Cross, Paddington, Euston or Waterloo in London, we can bring both you and the car home when the train gets in.
Airport chauffeur service in Toronto, Miami, New York, London and Dubai
Each city page lists every airport, port and station we cover. In brief:
- Toronto airport transfers in your own car. Toronto Pearson, its private aviation terminals and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on the waterfront. From November to April, supercars on summer tyres are not driven in snow, so on a winter arrival we bring you home in the RydeBack car and collect your car on a clearer day.
- Miami and Fort Lauderdale airport chauffeur. Miami International and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood, plus three executive airports for private flights, with handovers to the islands of Biscayne Bay planned around their gates and ferry.
- New York airport chauffeur service. JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Teterboro, Westchester County and Republic. The RydeBack passenger car in New York is operated by a partner licensed by the Taxi & Limousine Commission.
- Chauffeur service at Heathrow and London's airports. Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted and Luton, plus Farnborough and Biggin Hill for business aviation. A chauffeur service at Heathrow in your own car covers departures and arrivals alike, with Mayfair, Belgravia and the Surrey estates within easy reach.
- Dubai airport safe driver service. Dubai International and Al Maktoum International, including their private aviation terminals, with chauffeurs employed through an RTA-licensed partner.
New cities are added as chauffeurs and licensed partners are approved; the global chauffeur service hub shows which are live and which are coming.
What an airport chauffeur service costs: sample transfers
Pricing follows one rule everywhere. Two chauffeurs are billed per chauffeur-hour, counted garage to garage, with a three-hour minimum and half-hour steps beyond it, plus a per-kilometre rate on your own journey between the terminal and your address. The chauffeurs' travel back to base is already inside the hours, so you never pay for the same distance twice. Estimated tolls are included in the quote.
Why three hours for a 25 km transfer? Because the clock covers the whole operation: the chauffeurs reaching your car, the walk-around and key sealing, the drive to or from the terminal, any wait for the aircraft, parking the car at home, and chauffeur 2 collecting chauffeur 1. Most single airport runs in town fit inside that minimum. Sample transfers, shown as ranges because traffic and timing vary, and before any tolls on the route:
- Toronto Pearson to the Bridle Path: 25 to 30 km and 3 to 3.5 hours, roughly CA$1,255 to CA$1,470.
- Heathrow to Mayfair: 24 to 30 km and 3 to 3.5 hours, roughly £660 to £780.
- JFK to the Upper East Side: 25 to 30 km and 3 to 4 hours, roughly US$875 to US$1,150.
- Teterboro to the Upper East Side: 20 to 25 km and 3 to 3.5 hours, roughly US$850 to US$1,000.
- Miami International to Star Island or the Fisher Island ferry handover: 15 to 20 km and 3 to 4 hours, roughly US$825 to US$1,100.
- Dubai International to Emirates Hills: 35 to 40 km and 3 to 3.5 hours, roughly AED 3,410 to AED 3,960.
- Southampton cruise terminal to Belgravia: 125 to 140 km and 5 to 6 hours, roughly £1,425 to £1,675.
Departures in the opposite direction cost the same. Payment is taken in full at booking, with no deposit, and the refund rules are on our cancellation policy page: 100% back if you cancel 72 hours or more ahead, 50% inside 72 hours, and nothing for a no-show or once the chauffeurs are dispatched. For your own route, the instant airport transfer price shows every line before you pay.
Planning an airport handover: what to tell us
Airport bookings run on detail. Having these ready when you call keeps the handover quick:
- Flight or sailing details. Flight number and date, or the ship and port, plus the terminal or the name of the private aviation centre.
- The car. Make, model, colour and registration, the gearbox, and how much luggage it can realistically carry.
- Where the car is now, and where it ends up. Garage address, level and bay, gate or door codes, and whether the garage should be closed behind it.
- Who travels. The number of passengers and cases, so we know whether the second car will carry people, bags or both.
- Who receives the key. You, a house manager, a concierge or a key safe. The handover is confirmed with your PIN.
Booking online will be possible soon, with a minimum of two hours' notice. Early-morning departures are best booked the day before. For now, book by phone on 1-877-860-3388, by email at support@rydeback.com or through the chat button, and see our contact page for every option. Before your first trip, our page on how we protect your vehicle explains each custody step. If a whole day of meetings follows the flight, a private chauffeur service booking can continue from the terminal in your own car.

Questions, answered.
How much is an airport chauffeur service?
With RydeBack, two chauffeurs are billed per hour, garage to garage, with a three-hour minimum, plus a per-km rate on your trip. Rates are CA$180 per chauffeur-hour and CA$7 per km in Toronto, US$125 and US$5 in Miami and New York, £95 and £3.80 in London, and AED 460 and AED 18.50 in Dubai. A Heathrow to Mayfair transfer of 24 to 30 km over 3 to 3.5 hours comes to roughly £660 to £780, plus any estimated tolls on the route.
Can a chauffeur drive my car to the airport and take it home?
Yes. Chauffeur 1 drives you to the terminal or private jet centre in your own car, then drives the car straight back to your home or garage. Chauffeur 2 follows in a RydeBack car and brings chauffeur 1 back afterwards, so your car never sits in airport parking.
Can you meet me at a private jet terminal?
Yes. We cover private terminals and FBOs in all five cities, including Teterboro, Opa-locka, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, the Pearson FBOs and the private terminals at DXB and DWC. Where the FBO allows vehicles airside, your own car can be brought to the aircraft; otherwise we meet you at the terminal entrance.
Do you offer a chauffeur service at Heathrow?
Yes. RydeBack London serves Heathrow and every other London airport, in your own car. We bring your car to meet you, or drive you to your terminal and take the car home. Prices are £95 per chauffeur-hour plus £3.80 per km, with a three-hour minimum. Details are on our London page.
Can you bring my own car to meet me at the airport?
Yes. Chauffeur 1 collects your car from home or your garage before you land and brings it to the agreed pickup point. You are driven home in it with your luggage, or you ride in the RydeBack car while your car follows.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We watch your flight times and adjust, so you do not need to call us. Waiting is covered by the hours you booked. If a long delay pushes the trip past those hours, extra time is added in half-hour steps at the same hourly rate.
Will a chauffeur meet me inside the arrivals hall?
We agree the meeting point with you in advance, based on what each airport and terminal allows. At private terminals and FBOs the handover can be much closer to the aircraft, where the operator permits it.
My car is a two-seater. How do the bags get home?
Choose the split mode. You and your luggage travel in the RydeBack car while chauffeur 1 drives your sports car home or to its garage. The price is the same.
Do you do cruise port transfers in my own car?
Yes. At PortMiami, Port Everglades, the New York cruise terminals, Southampton, Dover, Tilbury and Dubai Harbour, chauffeur 2 takes you and your bags home while chauffeur 1 brings your car out of the port behind you, or drives it home after you embark.
How far ahead should I book an airport transfer?
As early as you can, and the day before for early-morning departures. When online reservations open they will need at least two hours' notice; until then, call 1-877-860-3388, email support@rydeback.com or use the chat button.
