RydeBack is a global chauffeur service with a different starting point. In every city where we operate, the car is yours. We supply the people, the process and a second car.

Each booking sends two vetted chauffeurs as a pair. Chauffeur 1 takes your key and drives your own car, whether it is a grand tourer, a family SUV or something rare, to your home, your garage, a hotel or any address you name. Chauffeur 2 drives you and your guests in a RydeBack car, then collects chauffeur 1 once your car is parked and the key is back in the right hands. Would you rather sit in your own car? What a global chauffeur service account gives you

A single RydeBack account works in every live city. Your saved vehicles, garages, key recipients and notification preferences come with you, so booking an evening in London feels the same as booking one in Toronto. What changes between cities is the currency, the local partner where the law requires one, and the chauffeurs who meet you at the door.

• Private clients and families. One login covers every city. Keep each car you own on file with its usual garage and the person who should receive the key, open a standby window when you cannot say when the night will end, and keep a private evidence vault for every vehicle.
• Family offices and personal assistants. Delegate access lets an assistant book, track and receive each update for a principal without ever using the principal's login. Several principals and their vehicles can sit under one office, and monthly statements gather every trip in one place, whichever city it happened in.
• Corporations. A prepaid corporate wallet means each trip is paid for before it starts. Several bookers can share one account, invoices can be split by cost centre, and duty-of-care reporting gives HR and risk teams a clear record of who travelled, when and how.

Hotels, clinics, marinas, private aviation and members' clubs have their own arrangements too. Each group is described on who we serve: accounts for clients, offices and companies. Where our luxury chauffeur service operates today

Five cities are live. Each has its own page with the districts, airports, ports, venues and events we cover, and each is priced in its own currency.

Toronto designated driver and chauffeur service. Our home city, priced at CA$180 per chauffeur-hour plus CA$7 per km. Coverage runs across the Greater Toronto Area, from Yorkville and Rosedale to the Oakville lakeshore and King City, with Muskoka cottages as a long-distance trip. One local rule matters here: between November and April, supercars on summer tyres are not driven in snow, so we bring you home and leave the car secure for a later collection.

Miami private chauffeur service. US$125 per chauffeur-hour plus US$5 per km across Miami-Dade and Broward. Much of the work here involves water: the islands of Biscayne Bay, marinas from Watson Island to Bahia Mar, and gated enclaves such as Indian Creek Village. During hurricane season, from June to November, a trip may be rescheduled for safety.

New York private chauffeur service. US$125 per chauffeur-hour plus US$5 per km, covering New York City, Long Island, Westchester, northern New Jersey and Greenwich. Your own car is driven by a RydeBack chauffeur, while the passenger car is operated by a partner licensed by the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission.

London personal driver service. £95 per chauffeur-hour plus £3.80 per km across Greater London and the Home Counties, with longer journeys elsewhere in the UK by arrangement. Typical evenings start in Mayfair or Belgravia and finish in Hampstead, Chelsea or the Surrey estates.

Dubai safe driver service. AED 460 per chauffeur-hour plus AED 18.50 per km, with long-distance trips to Abu Dhabi. Our Dubai chauffeurs are employed through a partner licensed by the Roads and Transport Authority, and the UAE allows no alcohol at all for anyone behind the wheel.

How luxury chauffeur service pricing works in five currencies

The formula is identical in every city; only the currency and the local rate differ. Two chauffeurs are billed per chauffeur-hour, counted garage to garage, with a three-hour minimum and half-hour steps after that. A per-kilometre rate applies to your own trip and nothing else, because the chauffeurs' return is already inside the hours. Estimated tolls are added to the quote before you pay, from the 407 ETR and SunPass gantries to New York bridge and tunnel tolls, the London Congestion Charge and ULEZ, and Dubai's Salik gates.

• Toronto: CA$180 per chauffeur-hour and CA$7 per km. Minimum booking CA$1,080 before distance.
• Miami: US$125 per chauffeur-hour and US$5 per km. Minimum booking US$750 before distance.
• New York: US$125 per chauffeur-hour and US$5 per km. Minimum booking US$750 before distance.
• London: £95 per chauffeur-hour and £3.80 per km. Minimum booking £570 before distance.
• Dubai: AED 460 per chauffeur-hour and AED 18.50 per km. Minimum booking AED 2,760 before distance.

To compare like with like, take an evening that fits inside the three-hour minimum and involves 15 to 25 km of driving on your trip. In Toronto that lands at roughly CA$1,185 to CA$1,255. Miami and New York both come to roughly US$825 to US$875. London works out at about £625 to £665, and Dubai at around AED 3,040 to AED 3,225. A full working day of 8 to 10 hours with 60 to 120 km is a different scale, and the instant price calculator shows the exact figure for your route before you commit.

Every trip is quoted in the currency of the city where it takes place and paid in full when you book, with no deposit. Cancel 72 hours or more before pickup for a full refund; inside 72 hours the refund is 50%, and a no-show or a cancellation after the chauffeurs are dispatched is not refunded. A cleaning fee applies only if a vehicle is soiled, charged afterwards with photographs: US$250 to US$350, CA$350 to CA$500, £190 to £265 or AED 920 to AED 1,285 depending on the city. Tips are optional and go entirely to the chauffeurs.

Travelling with your car, or keeping a car in every city

Many of the people who use an international chauffeur service do not live in one place. A Toronto family may winter in Miami. A Gulf-based family may spend the London summer season in Kensington, with Royal Ascot, Wimbledon and Henley in the diary. A London household may move to Dubai for the cooler months. Each home tends to have its own garage, its own car and its own people who hold the keys.

RydeBack is designed for that pattern. Register each car against the city it lives in, together with its garage address, any gate or door codes and the person who receives the key. When you arrive for the season, your first booking in that city already knows the car, so the handover takes minutes rather than a long phone call. The evidence vault keeps the photographs and video from every trip for 12 weeks, which is useful when a car sits unused for long stretches between visits.

Some trips involve the car without involving you. A car may need to go from a city apartment to a country house, to a dealer for service or into storage before you leave for the season. Airports, private terminals and cruise ports, in every city

Travel days are where a two-chauffeur arrangement makes the most obvious sense, and they look much the same in every city. Leaving? Chauffeur 1 drives you to the terminal or private aviation centre in your own car, you walk inside with your bags, and the car goes straight home rather than into a long-stay car park. Coming back? We bring your own car to meet you, and after a long flight you are driven home in it with your luggage, or you ride in the RydeBack car while your car follows.

We watch your flight times and adjust, and waiting is simply part of the hours you booked. Where a private terminal or FBO allows it, your car can be brought to the aircraft itself. The same plan works at cruise terminals, marinas and main-line rail stations. A worldwide chauffeur service with one standard that never changes

Opening in a new city is never a reason to relax the rules. The following apply in full, wherever you book:

• Vetting before the first trip. Each chauffeur passes city approval, a criminal background check, a driving-record check, an interview and a supervised assessment drive. Exotic and high-value cars go only to our professional tier. You can read more about how RydeBack chauffeurs are selected.
• Sealed keys. The moment we take your key, it goes into a numbered, signal-blocking Faraday pouch.
• Recorded condition. A photo and video walk-around is made at handover and again at drop-off, uploaded to your private evidence vault and kept for 12 weeks.
• A PIN at the end. The key is handed back only when your PIN is confirmed, to you or to the person you named.
• Live status. The RydeBack web app shows each step as it happens, and an email or text arrives as the chauffeurs are assigned, set off, secure the key, depart, arrive and return the key.
• Cover. Commercial insurance is arranged for the service, with the details confirmed at booking.

The protocol is described step by step on how we protect your vehicle. What does vary is local: licensing partners, toll systems, weather rules and the legal alcohol limit. It only changes what we plan around.

International chauffeur service: how new cities open

We do not open a city by putting a name on a map. A city goes live when two things are in place: enough chauffeurs who have passed the same vetting and assessment as everyone else, and, where local rules require it, a licensed local partner for the passenger car or for employment, as we already use in New York and Dubai. Until both are ready, a city stays on the waitlist, however much demand there is.

Fifteen cities are opening as chauffeurs and licensed partners are approved:

• North America: Los Angeles, Vancouver, Chicago and Las Vegas.
• Europe: Paris, Monaco, Geneva, Milan and Munich.
• Middle East: Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. Abu Dhabi can already be reached as a long-distance trip from Dubai while its local service is prepared.
• Asia-Pacific: Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.

We publish no opening dates, because a date we cannot keep is worse than none.
